Hey friends! So December of this year will make 12 years of my return back to Los Angeles after having lived in Stone Mountain, Georgia from ’96-03. Maybe I’ll make a big celebratory thing of it! But I probably won’t…(ha!) So with that said, being as though I’ve been back nearly twelve years one would think that I’ve explored the major ins and outs of this city! But I haven’t…(whomp!) I guess that’s a good thing NOW since I have my blog and can bring you all along for some of my new discoveries! That’s still no excuse as to why I hadn’t been to the Getty Center. But I went and I can now cross that off of my list! (You know, the one that technically doesn’t exist.) I can thank Amber for introducing this newbie to the Getty that holds some of the most beautiful, exquisite, and interesting exhibits I’ve seen! It’s truly an interesting place to find some art and artifacts from the past as well as photography from the present. If you live in Los Angeles do yourself a favor and GO! You won’t be disappointed. And considering it’s sits on one of the highest points in Los Angeles you will have an awesome view of the city from the beach to downtown! Admission is FREE but parking is $15. Here’s some information to get started and also check out their current, future, and past exhibitions! Here’s a taste of the day I had!
